The Arizona Land Rover Owners club welcomes your four legged friends. However, we require that each pet owner adhere to a Dog Owner’s Code of Conduct to ensure that both 2 legged and 4 legged friends enjoy their experience at the 2019 Gila Challenge.
- All dogs must be on a leash and under control during any group functions. This includes, but not limited to: any areas on and around Event Headquarters, the Event Staging areas or gatherings off the individual trail runs.
- Any dog that is disruptive, an excessive barker or shows signs of any aggressive/unsocial behavior must be contained and removed from the general public.
- If asked, an owner should immediately remove the dog from any persons uncomfortable in the presence of the dog(s).
- Dogs may be loose on the trail, if the owner has dog(s) under control and the dog is not disruptive to the group or trail run/hike.
- Owners must clean up after their dogs and dispose of the waste properly.
- Do NOT leave any pet (or child!) in a vehicle at any time in Arizona without due care! It will be hotter than you think and can easily be fatal. Leaving your pet in an enclosed car in excessive heat can lead to a class 1 misdemeanor in Arizona.
I agree to hold AZLRO, their members, and comittee members for this event and the owner and/or lessor of the premises, harmless from any claim or loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of my dog(s) while in or about the event premises or grounds and I personally shall assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim. I further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to my dog(s).
