Day2 - Box Canyon 2nd Run

Steve O Trail Leader with Ryan H Tailgunning. We went in from the North off US60, heading down Mineral Mtn. Road. At the intersection with Ajax Mine Road, instead of going straight down to "The Waterfall" feature, we went East to bypass it. Great views from the top then descending with some tight switchbacks to the wash below where we had lunch. After lunch we continued to the slot portion of Box Canyon. Some care and spotting was needed in a few places. As we expected, we encountered a fair number of vehicles going both ways through the canyon and everybody had to wait a while for passage in the narrower parts of the canyon.
