Registered users can now ‘Add a news item’ to the club site. I just used the new ‘add a news article’ to add this write-up, and it seems to be working great. Also new – a ‘logged in’ status in the upper right corner of (almost) every page. When you’re on the ‘about: news’ page, you’ll find (if you’re logged in) a new feature that lets you add news articles (the most recent article, regardless of author, always appears on the front page of the web site).
You can also edit your articles, and I’ll be adding a ‘draft | publish’ status to the articles so you can leave the article as a draft until you’re ready to publish it.
I’m slowly rolling them out, so hopefully some of you registered folks will try them out. Stay tuned for more.
If you’re not logged in, you should see a ‘log in’ feature on the homepage. I’ll also be adding a link to the login status bug in the upper right.
