AZLRO Council meeting minutes - 3/18/2017. All council members present.

Election
  • email call for candidates by April 15th, Close by May30th
  • Election runs thru June 1st - June 30th 2017
Trail Leader
  • TL training -new classes required? TL's have dropped off. Decision pending rally
  • TL badges ??
Events/Calendar
  • Quarterly classes / Proximity to other events - Feb's class, March's BBQ led us to fold April's Sat meeting into regular Thursday meeting

BBQ review
  • Great success
  • Cook-off went extremely well, GREAT FOOD! Consider moving to Saturday night, with club providing dinner on Friday instead
  • review requests for holding BBQ 2 times/year
2017 Rally / WNLRR
  • WNLRR - looks like NCLR is hosting in Fall of 2018
  • AZLRO shooting for March 2018 Rally
    • list of previous rallies:
      2010 - Tucson
      2011 - Gold Canyon
      2012 - Cottonwood
      2013 - Tucson
      2014 - Gila Challenge
      2015 - WNLRR
  • Format: based on feedback from surveys of members and rally attendees, type will be Traditional Rally over 3 days
  • Location: based on our location rotation schedule, Gold Canyon looks likely, but final location still tbd
  • Rally Chair: Pierre
  • Rally Trail Master: Carlos
  • Volunteers needed for a slew of positions - if you're interested, Pierre is looking to fill most of these same positions from previous rallies:
