10-12-2011 Council Meeting
In attendance:
Craig Ludwig
Shaun McDonald
Chad Manz
Doug Lawyer
Rob Woodward
7:00 – Start Meeting with all council members present on conference call

1- Confirmed location of Phoenix monthly club meeting for October, November, and December. Bass Pro Shop in Mesa has offered their conference room for small cost. Doug to purchase gift card for his business use, with his business funds, to waive the cost from Bass Pro. Only cost to AZLRO will be 3-$10 gift cards which must be donated to conservation groups. Group to be decided on at later time. Decided that this was small cost to break in with Bass Pro for future sponsor ship for club and future rallys. Doug also confirmed with Chuck Powell that dates are good for him and the use of Westland Resources for Tucson monthly meeting. The two locations will be joined together via conference call.

2- Update from Craig on legal paperwork to renew corporate status. We are almost complete on all new paperwork and reinstatement. All council will be listed as members and treasurer will be listed as director. Also decided to save money and use Chad Manz’s home address as official club address. Reviewed estimated one time cost of current legal costs of approximately $1200, but will only be about $100 per year from now on. Also discussed that will be easier for future council members and will not lapse again.

3- Rally update since first rally committee meeting. Doug informed group that next meeting would happen a month from 1st meeting, as date is far enough out at this point that no hurry on any items. However, venue is reserved, and all other important details have been coordinated for later date.

4- Reviewed previous and upcoming events. Talked about Steve O’s birthday event and who would be attending. Also pointed out that conflict with 4 Wheel Parts customer appreciation run in area. Area might be very crowded as that event could possibly have 200 vehicles. Also talked about Monument Valley trip. Everyone very pleased with trip and good club event.

7:45 - Meeting adjourned.
