Bottle jack rebuild kits / replacement?

4 years 1 week ago #7164 by koly
My bottle jack's (very similar to LR's version) seals have finally bit the dust and I need to either rebuild it, repair it, or get a replacement...

thoughts? Anyone know of a hydraulic shop in N Phx?

I've been hunting for the same Bob, my bottle jack blew a seal a while back..

I'd like to get my hand on one of these puppies..

Um, I don't think that would fit in the stock location under the seat... looks a *little* too big.

Need one that is portable that is used mainly for emergency uses.

There is a place in Safford that rebuilds them all the time for the LBT. We are good at breaking them.

Open Loop Energy Systems.

I will find out if they have a place in Phoenix.

Does the bottle jack detach from the rest of that assembly?

Update - I remembered an old tip from either Jim W or Bill B - drip a little oil onto the gaskets/seals, and they come back to life (at least for a while). Tried it, and the jack is back in business.
